Greenlife Grocery operates three full-service natural foods grocery stores dedicated to providing the freshest and healthiest foods and products available with two locations in Chattanooga, TN, and one location in Asheville, NC. Greenlife’s mission places a priority on supporting local and regional farmers and food suppliers. Additionally, they help to serve the Chattanooga and Asheville communities through education, events, promotions, and sponsorships.
The original Greenlife Grocery was opened by Chuck Pruett in July 1999, featuring a charming old corner market in the Riverside area of Chattanooga. Originally built as a conventional Food King grocery store, the Chattanooga Greenlife is approximately 8,000 sq. ft. Greenlife expanded its locations with the opening of the Asheville store in July, 2004.
In September of 2007, Chuck Pruett and his partner John Swann transformed an old A&P grocery store built in the mid-1960's into their newest 20,000 sq. ft. store. This is by far their grandest and most beautiful store to date featuring a juice bar, coffee bar, made to order wood fired pizza's and much more!
